General Daniel Morgan
A statue of General Daniel Morgan located in Morgan Square. General Morgan was the Patriot victor and hero at the Battle of Cowpens, an important victory during the Revolutionary War. The statue was erected around 1881, it was neat to see this monument today as we had just visited the battlefield earlier.

Outside the World of Coke Dr. John S. Pemberton greets you with a Coke. A pharmacist in Atlanta, Pemberton invented Coca-Cola in 1886. Coke was first served at soda fountains, you couldn’t purchase it in a bottle yet.
